About the Role
Salary:£51,946 - £68,603 + a range of benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Base Location: Perth | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need your base 'home' location will be our Perth office.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available.
What is the Role
The DevOps Technical Lead - Quality assurance is a hands on technical role providing leadership for our Test teams within the department. We are looking for someone to provide Quality Assurance leadership to modernise our testing practices throughout the department, with particular focus on test automation adoption.
The role will include:
- Modernising the departments approach to Quality assurance, with particular focus on Implementing and managing Test automation.
- Developing test strategies and test plans for value streams.
- Line management duties for Test engineers.
- Co-ordinating training and development of Quality Assurance best practice throughout the department.
- Test Design, Reporting and Defect management.
What do I need?
The role of a DevOps Technical Lead - Quality assurance sits within and supports across our Renewable and Thermal product teams. These teams are agile scrum teams adopting DevOps practices. These teams provide delivery and support.
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- A passion for implementing and promoting Test automation.
- Experience of line managing Test engineers.
- Strong background in Testing.
- Experience of Quality Assurance in DevOps.
- Experience of Selenium, Blazemeter and Azure DevOps Test plans.
