 Single Field:

Full query string

Use liquid to split into individual values to be displayed inside emails

·        Only 1 default field to be added to Recruitment

·        With correct JS and liquid logic, additional variables can be retained and used in emails

·        Specific logic for both JS and Liquid requires investigation time for feasibility.

·        Potential clunky code and variables to maintain.

 Multiple Fields:

Individual values

Each variable can be individually referenced inside the emails

·        No additional liquid logic is required (and no investigation time)

·        Individual variables are easier to maintain

·        Risk of bloating out the Candidate Fields section due to multiple default fields being added.  *

·        Adding a new variables will require manual set up or platform update for standardization (see point 1)

  • Implement time blocking into work days.
    • Protect the working day from constant interruptions, never ending questions and request that make the backlog of tasks even longer.
    • Dedicated time for tasks/responsibilities as a Product Owner like testing, planning, scoping, prioritisation etc, thus further aiding professional development.

  • Set boundaries.
    • Define the acceptance criteria for incoming requests/tasks/questions – only commit to work that has clear brief and clear expectations of when it needs to be done.
    • Do not hog all the tasks and responsibility - delegate tasks to those better equipped, the second it becomes clear the task is outside my depth and/or requires hours of research/investigation. Minimize the amount of “side quests” when the main story line is levels behind.
    • Helping should not equal free housekeeping – train and/or guide those who require constant hand holding, sharing the knowledge and the skills buys back free time.

  • See the bigger picture.
    • Get into the mind set of taking a step back away from the implementation details (no matter how intriguing or fun) and ask the necessary questions of what else can be done to increase the value or impact.
    • Start with defining the objectives and align them with business needs to ensure you start with benefits and value in mind already.
    • All things big and/or vague can and should be broken down into smaller SMART items.

  • Prebuilt site map/landing pages following best practises for candidate attraction.
    • Time with designer to fully incorporate branding colours – full customer support.
    • Job board with unlimited number of job listings - single place to manage consultants, jobs, applications, and CVs.
    • DIY content population with our in-house CMS
